Winter Hours: Sunday, November 1 - Saturday, March 12 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 
Spring-Fall Hours: Sunday, March 13 - Saturday October 31 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day

Docent Tours

 Saturdays 12:00 pm

Weekly educational tour, guided by UC Merced Volunteers.

Gift shop

The Zoological Society operates a gift shop that specializes in animal theme gifts for the whole family, educational toys, books, and gifts.  All proceeds help support the zoo’s operations.

kiddie corral

Petting Zoo dedicated for our younger crowd. For an additional $1.00 guests can have a hands on close encounter with our smaller kid friendly animals. Kiddie Corral is volunteer ran, and is only open when volunteers are available. If you would like to volunteer please stop by the zoo office and contact a zookeeper.

Zoo Membership

Zoo memberships can be purchased for a yearly fee of $35 dollars at the Gift Shop.

Memberships include:

• Free entry to Zoo
• 10% off all items in Gift Shop
• *May allow you free or discounted admission to other Zoos around the country.
