Wild Wednesday Lecture Series: Mammals of the San Joaquin Valley

  • What: Free lecture for adults the second Wednesday each month this summer

  • Where: Rossotti Ed-Zoo-Cation Center (between the zoo and Kiddieland)

  • Description: Get to know the mammals of the San Joaquin Valley, including California’s very own tule elk - a species we almost lost. Presented by Madeline Yancey of the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge. Organized by the Merced Zoological Society in conjunction with the City of Merced and the Merced Environmental Literacy Collective. This is a free event. Not recommended for kids under 12.
